SIS launches production of ID cards with a transparent window and holographic mark

Secure Identity Solutions has commissioned a laser personalisation line for polycarbonate ID cards. The line writes holder data inside the card, so it cannot be erased or altered without destroying the document.

The new card combines three levels of security. The first is visible without instruments: a kinegram, a transparent window with the company mark and a rainbow-printed background. The second needs a loupe: microtext and fine guilloche lines. The third appears only under ultraviolet.

We design every security feature so that authenticity can be verified in a few seconds.

What changed in production

Laser engraving has replaced the printing of personal data. The photo, name and document number are formed inside the polycarbonate layers, and the MRZ complies with ICAO 9303.

Quality control now inspects every card: geometry, MRZ legibility and contactless chip operation.
